UPDATE: PROOF! USATF Ignores It’s Own 2012 “Timing Rules” For $$$$$$$$$!

26 Jun

My post a few days ago about how the USATF is letting “corporate greed” decide who places 3’rd in the Women’s 100m race and goes on to compete at the 2012 London Olympics for the USA was met with a lot of controversy and some people saying I am crazy.

You can read the blog here and decide for yourself:  https://earthzebra.com/2012/06/24/corporate-greed-decides-2012-usa-olympic-trials-womens-100m-finals-race/

HERE IS PROOF:

In the 2012 USATF Rules they clearly spell out how “Timing” is suppose to go down!

****  Page 89, Rule #165 Timing ****

What you are seeing above is Rule #165, 2.0, clearing stating that “automated timing” should be used as the official timing.

So, how do you define “automated timing”.    There are two parts to it.

A.)   The first part basically clocks the time component.   This is the most precise Timing System we have and is very precise and is considered the most accurate of all ways to time a Track & Field race event.   It’s so accurate it can clock to 0.001 (a thousandth of a second) of a difference between competitors!   This is the reason the USATF has NEVER HAD A TIE!!!

LET ME SAY THAT AGAIN….THIS IS THE MOST EXACT AND UNDISPUTED TECHNOLOGY ACCEPTED BY TRACK & FIELD ALL OVER THE WORLD! ONE THOUSANDTH OF A SECOND!!!!!!   NEVER IN ANY COUNTRY HAS THEIR BEEN A “TIE” WITH THIS TECHNOLOGY!!!!!!!!   Hello USA FRAUD!

Here is the USATF Rule on how this version of this to happen:

Well, it recorded the two times correctly between Jeneba Tarmoh and Allyson Felix to .001 of a second as it does at every major meet in the world and as the meet Official Timer Person(s) posted on the Scoreboard, and USATF.org posted on their results page on the internet.    That should have been it.  Race decided.  That’s it, done. The USA Women’s 100M Olympic Trials event should have been over.  Why anyone would further inspect it is ….obvious!   The “sugar runner” did not qualify and $$$$$$$ panics all the track “big wigs”! This involves big money for the USATF and many others.

(I can’t find the image of the scoreboard or USATF.org Live Results page – conveniently erased!)…. but there was a .001 one thousandths difference between Allyson and Jeneba, thus at the time Jeneba Tarmoh was declared the third place winner based on the “Automated Timing clock component which measures to .001 of an second.

****  Now lets move onto Page 92 of the USATF Rules and Video Timing! ****

This is where the USATF is trying to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes and commit FRAUD so that the greedy money hungry entities will still support the sport!

The second part of “electronic timing” is Video Timing.   This is where the camera takes something like 3,000 frames a second (on good camera’s) and pieces them together drawing a line as each athletes torso crosses the finish line.   The problem with the Video Timing is it’s only good for 0.01 (a hundredth of a second).  Compared to .001 (a thousandth of second) with the time clock.

Here is the rule and a photo to help make all Video Timing clear:

Two things noteworthy in the USATF Video Timing Rules…..

A.)   It only measures to .01 (a hundredth of a second), compared to the more accurate Automated clock time which is accurate to .001 (a thousandth of a second).

B.)  According to the USATF own rules they clearly state that the Video is “intended to be a backup” to the Automated clock timing.

****  CONCLUSIONS ****

Well it leads to many questions which I’m the only one asking and have the balls to ask them!!!!!!!!!

1.)   The official “field” timer declared Jeneba the winner clearly because the Automated clock time said she won 3’rd by .001 second.    #FACT

2.)  The UATF.org website updated their Live Results to  Jeneba won 3’rd on their website posting the same time difference between Jeneba and Allyson by .001 seconds as on the stadium scoreboard.    #FACT

3.)   Jeneba was allowed to go through the celebrations of winning 3’rd and take part in the Press conference as the 3’rd place finisher headed to the Olympics!   This had to be at least an hours time.  #FACT

4.)  The USATF Rules clearly say the Automated clock time will take precedence over all other times including Video times which should only be used as a back up, unless the official timer can prove the equipment failed.   #ItDidNotFail   The Automated time clock which can measure to .001 (one thousandth of a second), posted the real times and Jenabe won 3’rd by .001 of a second!  #LiveWithIt  The Video timing system can not match the same level of time measurement as the clock can.

5.)   Who is the person(s) who decided to change the time to a tie?  Compared to the “On the field ruling” that Jeneba won 3’rd?????????????????????   This person needs to be prosecuted by law enforcement or certainly questioned.   This is possibly Fraud.   This is possibly Conspiracy.   This is possibly Collusion.

6.)  If Allyson had been the athlete who was .001 ahead, would the same “Reversal of Accurate Results” been done?   I say, no way!   This is only happening because the Corporate Cash Cow didn’t make the team in this event!

7.)  It clearly says in the rules that the Automated Timing should be recorded to .001 of a second!  Period!   What the USATF is doing, is IGNORING this Rule.   They are completely dismissing this rule and relying only on the Video Rule of .01 time measurement.  YOU DON’T GET TO #KANGAROOCOURT WHAT RULES YOU DECIDE TO USE.   YOU CAN NOT USE .01 WHENEVER CONVENIENT TO THE USATF!!!!!  DO YOU THINK WE ARE STUPID?  YES, YOU DO!

8.)  Who are the people involved in Ignoring their own rule that Times should be based on .001 of a second

When something stinks like you just stepped on DogSh*t, you suspect it to be  the neighbors dog that came over and sh*t on  your lawn.  But in this case, it’s not the neighbor’s dog, it our own USATF who taking a dump on us all and especially Jeneba Tarmoh, the real victim in this debacle and potential FRAUD!

Corporate Greed Decides 2012 USA Olympic Trials Women’s 100m Finals Race

24 Jun

Yesterday, June 24’th, 2012 in Eugene, Oregon at the 2012 USA Olympic Trials women’s 100 meter finals race, everyone witnessed the most despicable display of corporate greed and injustice to an athlete that has come along in a very long time!

The race was stacked with amazing talent, Carmelita Jeter, Tianna Madison, Allyson Felix, Bianca Knight, and any of the 8 women running had a good chance of qualifying for the 2012 USA Olympic team heading to London where the Olympics are being held later this summer. Only the top 3 finishers make the Olympic team.

Allyson Felix without any question was one of the favorites, and the most well known due to many large corporate sponsors. She has some of the largest endorsement deals in all sports and arguably the largest figure today in all of Track & Field in the world. She had been promoted as the face of USA 2012 Olympics.

Only one thing, no-one told all this to little known runner Jeneba Tarmoh!

As the race unfolded, Carmelita Jeter won the race solidly with a time of 10.92 and Tianna Madison came in second in a time of 10.96. There would be only one spot left on the Olympic team if Allyson was going to make the team.

Termoh and Felix were stride for stride coming to the finish line and crossed in a photo finish. Who would get 3’rd place and the final spot on the Olympic team would now come down to the computerized photo finish automated system. A few moments passed and the scoreboard posted the third place finisher and it was Jeneba Tarmoh by 0.001 seconds. Such a narrow margin, but a margin no doubt!

Oh but wait! This can’t be true! What are all the sponsors going to do? They’ve already printed all the point of purchase displays with Allyson Felix and the Olympic rings. What is NBC Broadcasting going to do with all the commercials they’ve already filmed with Allyson in them? What is Track & Field going to do without Allyson Felix?

Wait for it…wait for it…wait for it….That’s right, lets over-rule the computerized finish and study that finish photo ourselves!

What a crock of SH*T! They declared the race a tie! They reversed the computers ruling and decided to continue to line their pockets with Money! WTF?

Is this how we now decide our professional sports games and races!?

Apparently so! What a disgrace USATF!

Now they are talking about having a “Run Off”. This is completely unfair to Jeneba Tarmoh who ran the race of her life! The chances of her duplicating or bettering her time is 50/50. The odds of Allyson Felix having a better race is pretty much about 90%. This is very unfair to Jeneba and a sickening display of GREED!

You make me sick USATF (United States Track & Field)!

**  Note:  Both Jeneba and Allyson are competing in the upcoming 200 meter race.

**  Note:  I believe the top 4 finishers make the 4 x 100m relay team.

**  Note:  Allyson and Jeneba are training partners under Bob Kersey

**  Note:  Jeneba and Allyson are both Nike sponsored athletes.

How to Train to Achieve a New World Record Time in the 400 Meters Hurdles! – Track & Field

1 Jul

Achieving success in life is no different than breaking the World Record in the 400m Hurdles, Track & Field event.

All of life is like making a pie. When making a pie, it requires specific ingredients, preparation, and cooking. You can’t just throw all the ingredients into a pan and put it in the oven! You have to prepare each ingredient to perfection first, then put it all together.

Setting a new world record in the 400M Hurdles is no different.

FIRST STEP:
Break the race down into “ingredients” or parts.

* STEP TWO: Getting out of the blocks
* STEP THREE: Acceleration to the first hurdle
* STEP FOUR: Maintaining form and maximizing controlled speed over first several hurdles, “finding the groove, getting your mojo on”
* STEP FIVE: Being a powerful “machine”, technically “in the zone”, 2’nd and 3’rd 100’s.
* STEP SIX: Wrapping it up strong through superior training and endurance so that you do not fade or lose technical form the last 100 meters.
* STEP SEVEN: Clearing the final hurdle and turning on the after-burners with a great lean at the finish line with no let up.

So those are the parts. Now easily said, but how do you set a new World Record?

It’s simple! Each part or “ingredient” needs to be mastered at World Record speeds and technique, one at a time! Let me say this again, ONE AT A TIME, at World Record speed!

So, start at the beginning, STEP TWO: You know that you have to get out of the blocks at a certain speed to be even close to WR time. Identify what that time requirement is. Practice it, only it. Practice and perfect getting out of the blocks in world record time, EVERY TIME!

Then onto STEP THREE: Acceleration to the first hurdle. Identify what is the World Record time needed only up to the first hurdle. Practice, what you have already perfected at World Record time in getting out of the blocks, and perfect the acceleration part to the first hurdle at World Record time. Do not move onto step four until you are out of the blocks and at the first hurdle at World Record pace.

Do you see the formula here?

So, now you’re out of the blocks and at the first hurdle at World Record pace, so now move onto STEP FOUR…..Find your groove, get comfortable, over the next few hurdles, and keep doing STEPS 2, 3, and now 4 until you have them tied together ALL at World Record pace.

And then do the same things for the remaining Steps. With each step you master at World Record time, tying all the previous steps together, you end up with an amazing tasting pie, and a NEW WORLD RECORD!

The time requirements for each athlete for each individual Step, might vary a little. Some runners have one heck of a finish, and can be a bit slower on some of the previous steps. The bottom line though, is you know what the total time has to be, so it is up to each athlete to carve up his or her race into pieces of a pie! Get out a piece of paper and draw a time-line. If you know 50 seconds is the total, then start entering the times you have to have for each of the Steps!

Again, start at the beginning and bake your pie one step of the recipe at a time, mastering EACH STEP at World Record time before moving onto the next step!

Good luck and don’t forget an EathZebra shout-out in the post race interviews! :)!

Eugene, Oregon

At the 2011 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Lashinda Demus (USA) crossed the finish line in a new World Record time of 51.64 lowering the previous world best of 52.34 held by Yuliya Pechonkina (Russia).

Demus was out of the blocks cleanly and led the race from start to finish pulling away from the field at 200 meters. She was the current 2011 world leader going into the race with a previous 2011 best time of 53.31 set at the Nike Prefontaine Invitational last month.

In her after race interview Demus said, “I’m very happy, and excited as I’ve worked my entire career for this moment. I give all credit to god for making this possible, and I’d like to thank EarthZebra for his guidance and mental coaching. Without him in my life I don’t think I would be standing here now. I am so very happy. Thank you EarthZebra”.

Demus is the mother of twin boys and lives in Southern California. Her hometown of Valencia has a parade planned for next Saturday on Main Street where Demus will be presented a key to the city by the Mayor and declaration that June 25’th will be Leshinda Demus Day.

To Tweet or Not to Tweet – The Twitter Dilemma

30 May

Well I finally broke down and joined Twitter.

I’ve always been the type of person to resist new technology, to resist change, to try and keep my life in a nice neat little envelope. Afterall my cassette player works just fine. Why would I want a CD player. My Myspace page was just fine, why do I need to join Facebook?

And here I am again, life, technology, social networking has now advanced once again and I’m faced with the dilemma to advance with it or stay in my nice little nest. It comes in the name of Twitter!

Twitter is a website, where you can “follow” other people’s lives where in brief “tweets” they post about what they are doing, thoughts and snip-its about their lives. A little like Facebook, but more in real time, little bursts or snapshots of life.

Today is my second day and so far I have to say I like it. The problem with Facebook is that it is geared pretty much for only your friends and family. But with Twitter you can follow anybody! I find this incredibly interesting. When I lived in New York City, one of my very favorite things to do would be to sit on the pillar wall outside the GM Building where the Apple store now is, across from the Plaza Hotel, which was on 5’th Ave and Central Park South. This spot is in my opinion the center of the universe. Lots of people walking by. Tourists, business people, shoppers, and every life form known to man passed this location. I’d sit on the wall and “observe”. Like a fly on the wall, I’d watch the people walking by, listen to their conversations, and try to figure out what the person was all about in the 10 seconds it took for them to enter the viewing zone, pass in front of me, and then exit the viewing zone. I found it fascinating!

So far Twitter is providing me the same thrill. I am “following” about 40 people so far. Mostly professional track & field stars who are traveling around the world. Okay, I’ll admit it, female track stars. Not sure how my fascination with track people came about. Perhaps because they all are in very good shape and have hot bodies. ha ha! I’m sure I will move into other areas like fashion models shortly too. I don’t think I will follow movie stars. I’ve never been impressed with actors as I don’t think what they do is anything special. They pretend to be someone else and this to me is nothing extraordinary. Track & Field athletes however in my opinion do, do something special. They hone their bodies into finely tuned machines that perform incredible actions that very few can duplicate. I’m impressed with their determination, training, mental mindsets. As a former athlete in college (Baseball), I have respect for what it takes to be great in track.

So, at least for now, I am officially Tweeting on Twitter and liking it. No-one is following me yet, but I don’t have much to say anyway. Ha! Okay, maybe I do, but it would come across as arrogant to admit it.

Happy Tweeting!
